In a numbers-dominated industry obsessed with square footage, timelines and dollars, Armada Hoffler prefers to focus first on people. We figure that by treating employees and people we do business right, establishing mutual trust and cultivating long-term relationships, the numbers will take care of themselves. And since our inception, they have.

Four key attributes are expressed in our mission statement that focus on what each employee can offer a client – Quality, Service, Flexibility and Integrity. Additionally, the Armada Hoffler motto, "We Build Trust," is a value that is incorporated in every aspect of our daily work. These values are conveyed and reinforced through the "AH" pins each employee wears, which distinguish Armada Hoffler individuals to the community and instill respect and honor for the company we work for.

At the same time, we strive to maintain a positive, dynamic, comfortable and fun work environment. Not only does the company emphasize the importance of family, it has become a family itself with the creation of lifelong friendships and bonds. Our culture is one of energy, opportunity and excitement, where teamwork is encouraged and excellence is recognized and rewarded. Loyalty and trust are significant priorities here and a "can-do" atmosphere permeates the office. Staff members are allowed to flourish and grow independently, yet readily receive guidance as needed. Our partners are dedicated to a "hiring within" practice when possible, and take every opportunity to remind staff that Armada Hoffler would not be as successful as it is without the efforts of each person.
