The Town Center of Virginia Beach is a 17-block, $500 million multi-phased mixed-use development located in the city’s Central Business District. It provides a mix of deluxe residential apartments and condominiums, Class-A office, multi-level upscale retail, business and luxury hotels and an array of cafes and restaurants. The Westin Hotel & Residences, Studio 56 Lofts, Two Columbus Center and the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts recently opened in 2008. Construction on Phase IV is expected to commence in late 2009/early 2010.

Amenities include 50 luxury suites and a fully-appointed Presidential Suite, 38,000 SF of conference/banquet space, three dining facilities, a private concierge lounge, health spa and fitness center, and a 96,828 SF parking structure. Armada Hoffler partnered with Lano International in the development of this property. The Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. was recently ranked the top hotel in the world by Institutional Investor magazine.

This 390,000 SF, 23-story, 405-key property graces the downtown Norfolk skyline and remains one of the premier hotels in the area. In partnership with the City of Norfolk and Stormont Trice Companies, the hotel features a 60,000 SF conference center, atrium with enclosed pool and two full-service restaurants. Additionally, a 264,000 SF, 9-floor parking garage is attached.

In partnership with Emory University, Armada Hoffler developed and built a 180,000 SF, 5-story, 200-key hotel on the grounds. It features a 55,000 SF Executive Conference Center with two amphitheaters and a full-service business center. Hotel amenities include a fitness center with lap pool, club room with game tables and a full service, on-site restaurant.

Located in the heart of the new City Center at Oyster Point, this 135,000 SF hotel and conference center will serve as a centerpiece for the entire mixed-use development. At 11 stories, the 256-key property will feature an exercise room, pool and whirlpool spa, high-end restaurant, social rotunda and an 85,000 SF conference center. The hotel will open in Summer, 2006.
