We construct projects for our clients on a negotiated and select bid basis, ranging in cost up to $500 million. Our design and construction experience includes: office buildings, hotels and conference centers, single- and multi-tenant retail, multi-family, industrial, distribution and manufacturing, educational, medical and special purpose complexes, government projects as well as institutional facilities, parking garages and tenant improvement projects.

LEED Accredited Professionals
LEED Professional Accreditation, designated by the U.S. Green Building Council, distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles within the LEED Rating System. Armada Hoffler has recognized that owners and tenants place significant emphasis on their properties achieving "green" status. Therefore, we have invested significant time and resources in several employees, in both Virginia Beach and Baltimore that have become LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) Certified employees.
Safety
At Armada Hoffler, we believe that worksite safety is of paramount importance. The complete elimination of accidents is a deeply ingrained goal emphasized in our company policies and daily activities. Armada Hoffler employs a comprehensive written safety plan to insure all work is performed in the safest possible manner. We also have the flexibility to incorporate any special client requirements into the overall safety program of a project. Our plan is included as an attachment to all subcontractors, binding them to explicit requirements. Compliance to this plan is continually monitored at the job site level via a staff of full-time Armada Hoffler safety professionals, who play a vital role in ensuring the safest possible working conditions. Armada Hoffler Construction has received numerous safety awards in the past 10 years.
